Alpha-1 Association members approve merger with Foundation

The membership of the Alpha-1 Association approved the organization’s merger into the Alpha-1 Foundation by an overwhelming margin, Association Chair Henry Moehring announced Wednesday, April 16.

The vote, with 426 ballots submitted, was 413 in favor and just 13 opposed, or a 97 percent favorable vote.

“This affirmation paves the way for uniting the Alpha-1 Association and the Alpha-1 Foundation to become a stronger Alpha-1 community under the banner of the Alpha-1 Foundation,” Moehring wrote in a letter to the membership.
